Description

Hand engraved monogram on 1/2" thick steel die. One-line name die, also 1/2" steel, was created with the Cronite Masterplate system. The paper is vintage air mail, only slightly heavier than onion skin, once used when most mail did not go by air for its efficacy in keeping weight to a minimum. http://www.ephemerasociety.org/articles/collins.html
